Everyone has their own version of BRAVE...
Through BRAVE-ly sharing our stories, we can find purpose and meaning, use our grief voice, and perhaps, help another hurting heart looking to find their BRAVE voice, too.
We would love to offer you this space to share your personal story of love and loss, and the BRAVE path of grief and healing you find yourself on. We hope it allows your heart, and others, to find healing.
Angela’s Brave Story
Even as a young girl, I always knew that being a Mom was the most important job that I would ever have. After falling in love with my husband, John and marrying him in 1998, we began to build our beautiful family. Our first son, Sean was born in 2000 and our second son, Connor was born in 2001.
Rachel’s Brave Story
Rare - /rer/ - adjective (of an event, situation, or condition) not occurring very often
After being married for a few years, my husband, Riley, and I were ready to start trying for a family. In early 2017, we got pregnant for the first time right away and were surprised, but so excited. We told our immediate family soon after we found out. Two weeks later, we lost the baby and were devastated. There were some minor complications that lead to a D and C. My dreams from the time I was younger were completely crushed.
Mary’s Brave Story
Living after The loss of our lovely Daughter, Chloe. On June 6, 2020, we received the good news of my pregnancy. We became a family of three. We made plans as to how our life would be as new parents. We bought a new house and a bigger car. We planned everything, but we didn’t imagine that the plans would be different for our daughter. My pregnancy was close to perfect, with no sickness. I took good care of my nutrition and exercised regularly. Every prenatal appointment went well, including the genetic screening. We celebrated our daughter’s wellness and prayed every day for her.
Jessica’s BRAVE Story
I often feel the strong pull to write. I want to share more of my story about losing Nick and the hope I have found. My hope is that this gets shared far and wide and reaches hurting Moms, Dads, and families who read it.
October 2nd, 2020, was the day my life changed forever.
Jo Anna’s BRAVE Story
My BRAVE story started when I was just a young girl. At five years old my father died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. Some of my very first memories are of profound loss.
